also i love that it seems everyone has to use a lot of guidelines to draw rayman's head but almost none anywhere else. drawing fabric or hands or shoes? easy peasy lemon squeezy. drawing a slightly off but mostly human head/face? difficult difficult lemon difficult. i swear sometimes ive had to redraw thingys' faces like 4 times because i kept fucking it up.

i have to use guidelines for his wacky head otherwise i go insane, its why i draw him inconsistently in almost every drawing despite drawing the bastard for 3 years atp :'D

i need to start using guidelines on his head. just more in general - his face, his hair, his BOOP. i go through phases of being really "used to drawing" my art just... stop fucking sketching properly and my art goes to shit and i dont notice until like 4 drawing later QwQ its like anytime i find a system for producing art thats fun and comfortable and i like the outcome, my skill tanks because im not trying something new or some shit idk and i want it to stop.
