Figuring out the pattern pieces for the cloak. The first mockup was good for seeing what style would work but was quite messy. This one was much tidier. It's formed of two cuts of the lower fabric, 86 cm wide and around 100cm tall, and the two shoulder husks are 135cm tall and 96cm wide. The neck hole is 35cm and there is some considerable droop, but i'll probably find a way to bodge it fixed.
I'm fairly short at 160 cm, which is useful if you're considering replicating this project
Recently during a furmeet i ended up finding these seriously XXL very light greenish trousers. An attendee was like "yeah that looks like something a rye grain would wear" and I bought it. It goes all the way to a point quitesome above my navel and still drags on the floor! This is plenty of material to mess with!
It should help complement the cloak, and especially when i make the waist tighter to, hide what's revealed when the husks arent covering the sides.
