I'm making a rye fursuit. So far i've decided to go use up some of my spare fabric and make a small mockup of the chest so i'd understand how it works - a basic small pointed bit in the centre and then two "husks" coming from the sides. Ideally, when the arms are t-posing, the husk should drape across the front.
This will be done with some bought fur but also this cheap £3 throw blanket i found in a charity shop which i thought would like nice.
Hopefully when i get to the real fur i'll be making a quality product! I might just go use some other fabric too to make sure i understand how to construct it before even start cutting!
I might sew it all to a t-shirt of some kind for structure.
My roommates seem to like it and are beginning to see my vision. They like how it looks like a poncho and how it moves and sways. I like it too. Dancing is fun and this fits so well with it!
