It would seem that Merida’s fate is pretty well sealed at this point, as the Scottish princess sinks to her,… last hopes in this amazing from the remarkable Belise. ~^

The third of three pictures from a Kofi sale by Belise where it seems Merida isn’t quite as buoyant as she hoped she would be to change her perilous fate. ~^
More lovely work from Belise, and it would seem that Merida has gotten even more worried, with a hint of woeful as the severity of her situation really sinks in. ~^ Those big, fearful eyes, complimenting her woeful facial expression really shows her emotions well as her peril deepens. Gotta love her huge poofy hair as its fiery waves and curl spread on the surface behind her as she settles in. Her posing really furthers the feeling of her helplessness, with her arms stuck in the mire, and her chest prominently out in front of her, settling in just over the rim on her dress. And what a lovely prominent chest it is as it bobs before her, with her medallion resting atop it, and that lovely shine off the top providing a very nice accent. The quicksand is really showing how treacherous it can be, with its soft sandy surface and those incredible sink lines really giving a feel of her sinking deeper into its grip. It seems the princess’s luck has royally run out, and her chances of changing this fate are absolutely sunk. ~^
