Bio:
Born in Melbourne Australia and moving up North to Queensland as a young kitten, Salem grew up with Christine and Dakota, later on meeting Vaughn online and forming a close, strong bond with him. Being the punk / tomboy of the group, apart from the grunge and gothic-punk apparel she wears she has a very strong non-conformative, apathetic view on labels and "social boxes", strongly believing there's no right or one way to dress, speak, think or behave to fit into what someone resonates with or believes in, as well as being a more subtle yet strong advocate for rights for all such as having pins and messages on her jackets and bags. Her bionic arm has the ability to create, and therefore allow her, to manipulate hard-light (Overwatch heroes Symmetra, Lifeweaver and Domina as prime examples of this ability, another good example in a way is Green Lantern's object-making power, except instead of green it's red). The roses and stems glow as well when she is projecting and sustaining hard-light, she uses it more as a tool in her daily life and to fidget with when she's bored more than anything else. Salem's arm is a massive symbolic part of her design and a subtle message about the artist (yours truly), due to my own health being chronically ill and unable to work because of the sickness I have, the rose stems mimicking veins due to my main health concerns which heavily surrounds my cardiovascular system. Salem's ability to create hard-light symbolises my creativity as an artist, giving my own fursona an artistic streak and turning the disability into a tool for creativity.
