Here's the moment i felt that i was getting worse, in terms of skill and mentality as well. I set myself up for failure by trying to draw her as realistically as i could, and so as a way of trying to cling on to that spark i once had, i later pivoted to a slightly more cartoony style to make it easier for myself.
I've been feeling pretty depressed and empty this past few months, being lost, never knowing what I want to do, what I want to become, where my life is heading. The uncertainty of the future is really stressing me out and I can't stop thinking about it.
So Zűry here became my comfort charater because she's literally me fr. She's the only thing I've been drawing, and it may be a bit cringe to obsess over a character so much, but I don't really care.
It's been very hard to enjoy anything, even things I used to love. Whenever I draw I get in the flow of it, but I'm only able to extract a very little amount of joy from it. And I don't really understand why.
