A second and more successful attempt to draw Enhydriodon, the largest otter in history. Enhydriodon was a large, almost entirely terrestrial predator that lived in Africa and South Asia during the Miocene and early Pleistocene. It may have lived in family groups. A predator ranging from 2.6 to 3 meters in length and weighing over 200 kg, Enhydriodon actively competed with large cats (including saber-toothed cats) for apex predator status in the aforementioned habitats. Perhaps Enhydriodon should have been drawn as digitigrade, as depicted in Season 3 of the documentary series "Prehistoric Planet." Partially painted to resemble the reconstruction from the aforementioned series
