In a faraway desert lies a city whose name humans and Pokemon alike have forgotten. So long has it been abandoned, that it must have been reclaimed by the sands twelve times over! ...And yet, it hasn't. Perhaps not living up to its former glory (whatever that may have looked like), the majority of the city still stands proudly free of dunes and doom alike--a tarnished golden bastion amongst the sea of unrelenting daytime sun and freezing nights. Few ever bother to make the trek there, knowing that it's a fool's errand to even try. Over the centuries and supposed millennia, fewer still return with proof of their venture. The ones who do bring stories of an unexpectedly welcoming host: an Alpha Blaziken sitting on a throne of gold that was clearly made for him and him alone in ages long past--but that can't be true, right? No Pokemon lives that long! Well, the scant few who've actually had the guts to spar with this fiery ruler, defeat his oddly Gym-like challenge of wits and mettle to defeat and capture the BlaziKing himself give us a hint about the ruler's age: he has not lived forever. If he is forced to 'abdicate,' another takes his place within weeks--though considering each successor is more cunning than the last, and his followers quickly rescind his offer of hospitality when he's caught, you will not be catching a second. If, however, you just want shelter from the heat and a place to lay your head, then come, take a load off! The mysterious ancients who made the city left many wonders to admire...

There is a BlaziQueen version too, but considering the only difference is some eyelashes I'm going to refrain from uploading her haha. Search 'blaziken base' and you're sure to see what those eyelashes look like!

Uuuuuuh... yeah. It occurred to me that King Nyrtesh could make a cool Blaziken, so I looked around for bases, Found  yiyani had one so I decided to try my hand at filling it out! Learned a few things along the way, such as Nyrtesh having surprisingly few colours to work with, and the lack thereof forcing me to learn how to render gold instead of figure out colour theory to add my own additional hues! Also it turns out that his flesh is orange, not pink.
