Here we have Aurora's parents, Alice Vicks and Austin "Auzzy" Vicks! Alice is an expert mage, specializing in potion-making and is VERY tall, standing at 8 and a half feet; she towers over everyone she meets!
Her husband, Austin is a master carpenter and always carries a large, solid red axe everywhere he travels. His nickname, "Auzzy" is the pet name bestowed by his lovely wife. Notably, he is a red fox, in contrast to the ladies in the family. (I have lore to work on for why these two got together, and it's super wholesome, I swear!)
This piece needed some overtime to finish. This was part of a milestone project from February but I was unsuccessful in finishing it in time. But since the deadline came and went, I used that as a good excuse to take my time with making this look as good as I could! It's by far the most time spent on any one piece and the most detail I've done so far in my artistic journey! I can't say I'll do pieces like this too often, cuz these take WAY too long to render images this much!
