This is Tate shade the first medicine cat of Rain clan

He's formerly a kitty pet named Tater-tot

He has an interested in herbs as he was mentored by a star clan medicine cat named blizzard mane when he was young.

But as star clans powers faded in the area as they where forgotten Tate almost forgot about his mentor too thinking that his skills where obtained from his mother who he also doesn't remember due to being taken from her at a young age.

With star clan slowly fading in the area the dead clan cats desperately reached out to their descendants scattered around but they only ended up scaring them leading to legends of ghosts haunting the marsh near the two-leg place.

Tate shade became interested in ghosts after an encounter with one on a late night herb gathering trip.

he ran away of course and wouldn't leave his house for a few days.

but afterwards the curiosity about the ghost cats got to him and he and his friend dusty often went ghost hunting in the marsh together.

Tater tot was often bullied by Shadow and Rust for his unusual interests.

One day a strange cat came to town her name was Rain fish.

She too had interest in the ghost cats so they became fast friends.

one day while the three where on a ghost hunt in the marsh they encountered another ghost cat who led them to a waterfall with a cave behind in.

in the cave the three met many star clan cats and Tate was a witness to Rain stars nine lives ceremony.

He then became Rain clans medicine cat with the guidance of Blizzard mane who he reconnected with at the moon falls.
