HEADING - Transcript of the audio from the broadcast is attached below (I told you things would get worse). ATTACHED -
Female Host - We come to you with breaking news this afternoon as the ongoing crisis in Kaliningrad reaches a new stage of global attention, as a large task force of United Nations peacekeepers has deployed to the independent oblast as the situation seems to only grow more and more dire each passing day.
Male Host - Unfortunately, so Diane, the arrival of the peacekeeper marks a new escalation of tensions and foreign intervention in the crisis that continues to unravel in the country. The UK-led peacekeeping force arrived in large force last night, passing through the countryside and setting up a primary base of operations in the city of Gusev. The head of the peacekeeping operation, Captain Eli Richardson, released a statement this morning about the arrival of the United Nations peacekeepers.
Male Host (Reading statement). - “There is no doubt that the ongoing situation in Kaliningrad is one of the largest humanitarian crises since the end of the Second World War. The failure of the local government and the neighboring and intervening nations to ensure the safety and evacuation of the citizens of the country cannot be ignored any longer. That's why, with full authorization of the United Nations Security Council, I have been given command of a United Nations, multi-national peacekeeping force to enter Kaliningrad and begin full-scale evacuations of cities and towns outside of the city itself, as the current intervention from the Russian Military has prevented any emergency aid or evacuations from the capital city of the country itself. The Russians' intervention into a free city-state must not be ignored either; those responsible for this disaster must be brought before the proper courts and charged. But until then, the UN mission in Kaliningrad will continue as planned, evacuations will proceed in major population centers, and local broadcasts will be overridden to give the people of Kaliningrad the information they need to avoid the virus, along with the proper procedures when attempting to make it to evacuation centers. I will also take this time to call upon our allies in the EU and NATO to assist where they can in this crisis, as the KAF and Rapid Deployment Response Organization are under-equipped and overwhelmed with the situation. I ask for aid from all our allies to help the people of Kaliningrad, as this crisis could easily spread and explode into a global disaster.” R(Notice how they say ‘crisis’, instead of what this truly is).
