This is a very special picture indeed, which was drawn as a gift by the wonderful  eliki Obviously the bunny in the blue is me, but the other one is the also-onderful Megan -- that's  VeloxFox. Like Eliki, she's been a close friend for something like eight years now, and yet this is the first time I've ever actually been in a picture with her. She's been immensely kind and generous to me over the years, and someone I'm proud to call a friend and heart-sister.

It rather goes without saying that I'm delighted with this picture. I particularly like the atmosphere, which I think comes across as peaceful and relaxed. The lighting makes it seem as though it might be very early morning, a time of day I've always liked and found very calming, and that just adds an extra dimension. The ship sailing by reminds us that there's a whole world out there, and our friends are part of it.

To quote Marillion (yes, really!) "It's such a beautiful world / Glistening and magical." And it's friends like Megan (and Eliki) who make it that. I'm so touched by this picture, and it's made me very happy. Thank you so much, the pair of you. *hugs both*
