With spare time to relax from work, Rex originally had no plans for the whole week off, but after a suggestion from his close friend and costume supplier gave him an opportunity that he couldn’t pass up. Getting to be one of the heroes from the Mushroom Kingdom again was going to be fun, and the new addition of a ‘power-up’ would add some more flair to his transformation. Just how would it work? And what would he look like?

Themes in this series include muscle growth, weight gain, age progression, and superstardom.

Here is the 5th image of the sequence. The more recognizable shifts to his form came up quick as continued to watch himself change. The iconic ‘stache appeared under the growing nose, while the eyes were bluer and the hair shifted its style to match the plumber’s. The power of the plumber entered next, as strength grew the arms, chest and legs, completing their first ‘level’ of growth, whilst fat started to accruing on his middle, marking the beginning of Mario’s gut. With sufficient changes, Rex tried to summon the power he was trying to earn, and after a bit of focus, it came to be, though the fireball was small, it would grow.

The first image of the Mario sequence is the LS, DH subset from the fading color version, where the colors change. The first image is followed by the LS, LH set, the TS, DH set, and lastly the TS, LH set. Version and set differences are given the gallery’s description.
