"DinoSphere" Carved + Painted Sculpture
This little fellow is finally done after much long planning, and I've learned quite a lot while creating 'em! It was so fun carving to such a fine roundness... and I'm especially enjoying playing around with pleasing color mixing as I'm taking that class. Thoughts below are welcomed, thanks for looking. ^.=.^
Materials: Plaster of Paris, various carving tools, acrylic paint with matte medium, and sealed with a gloss varnish.
Approx. 6 x 6 in. Took roughly half a year until full conceptualization seen above. $95 PayPal (free pickup in the Columbus area).
