I hadn't drawn Captain Mandarin or Lieutenant McMurdo in ages, so I thought I'd better change that - and I've decided to do that by revisiting a concept I accidentally stumbled upon just over a year ago. The Christmas before last, I drew a picture showing both Mandarin and McMurdo making a dive for Dexter Clapton under a sprig of mistletoe. Now, Dexter and Mandarin's relationship had long been an established part of the SPCM canon, but that drawing suddenly threw up the idea that McMurdo might have the hots for him as well. I played around with it in my head for ages, but never pursued it seriously until now.
And I don't doubt that all this goes against most navies' rules against fraternization - but considering all the other rules the Oshan Akuma's crew must have broken across the SPCM canon, I think a spot of canoodling between two or three of their officers is the least of their worries.
