completed turntable of adamkop's idea for a small skaven warship in an alternate universe fic where Clan Skryre from the Old World capture a sith lord and his crashed personal starship, who bargains for his live by providing advanced technology to the skaven in exchange for daemonhood as a Verminprince and the resurrective immortality that comes with it. The skaven leave their home reality in order to start an interdimensional empire through the use of gnawholes. Skavenblight gets folded into the warp where the great horned rat rules his subjects directly as a god emperor on a floating hunk of continent.

there will also be floor plans to this ship, but before i can make my custom pixel art floor plans, i need AdamKop to send me his own floor plans so that i have an accurate dorsal view and mapped internal space. because what i'm depicting needs to be as accurate as possible, i don't really have any other option but to trace. i really wish adam would send me the 3D files themselves rather than just the videos, because then i could do cross sections and all sorts of fun stuff. i want to get into making my own ships in blender, but that will never happen because i'll never find the time to learn the app while making my own pixel art plans, and adam is pretty damn affordable.

i'm looking forward to october when i will hopefully commission yawg with my rat girls. i'll have about $300 for a big project in october but i haven't quite decided what to spend it on. i'm also planning on getting some actual rats as pets, but finding pet stores that carry live animals is very VERY hard because there's some bogus law against live feeding or something (they bulk vacuum seal and flash-freeze them instead, which i think is far less humane than death by snake). i used to keep rats when i was younger, but i haven't in a long time after getting bitten up by a shitstain hamster (i have never been bit by a rat though i bet it hurts like hell). i found a store next to where i live that has rats (unadvertised online, but reviews say they have them). i've been meaning to go since monday, but the day keeps getting bumped forwards due to family coordination issues and it's frustrating as heck. i also need to get the armored cage out of the spider-infested and bird poop encrusted shed.

i was planning on commissioning foxovh this week, but i didn't hear back from him in a few days and i got kind of impatient so i commed adamkop again because i am a creature of habit and short impulse control. adam is now making me a turntable of the Great Fox from Star Fox, as well as a partial floor plan (the ship is too big for a full floor plan, sadly!). adam already has an existing Great Fox model he made himself, which has been shrunken down from its canon 890 meter length into a more conservative 350-550 meter range, but it's still too big. the largest ship adam ever made me was 200 meters, and it's covenant scale so it's really 40% larger than it would be normally.

in other news, maxnoward wrote back to me today with updates on the second alopex animation. he has found a male model with clothes. i sent him an additional $10 because he has to do a bit of sculpting for the removed pants and i felt that was too much work for the default $60 price tag. anyway, i won't spoil anything, but it's gonna be really great: 8 seconds long he says! i'll host it on my MEGA drive, but i'll have the thumbnail and link here on FA for reach.
