First, you need to decide what type of artwork you want: standard artwork or a drawing with a render.

Standard drawing:
The background is not very detailed, and the character’s body is not fully rendered (I usually focus on the face or another specific part of the body). The main priority is refining the silhouette and the overall readability of the piece.

If you would like a highly detailed piece, please take a look at the “drawing with a render” option.

Drawing with a render:
Here I fully work on both the background and the character (face and entire body). This is a more polished and professional-level illustration.
