Comments: This chapter was originally much, much shorter years ago. After thinking about it, I decided that it would be better to focus on the children rather than the first main character who appears here. They're bit characters ultimately and I was sparse with describing their town since this is a location that will not be visited again. Not sure if I should come back and rectify that later just for pacing's sake.
