The first chapter of a novel I've wanted to write for a long time. This is the serious attempt and I'm hoping that I can get to the end of it before my motivation fizzles out again. I'm not sure how this will work out.
Comments: Ended up a lot shorter than I wanted it to be. Maybe that's for the better. Not sure. Can't wait to describe her properly later.
I've considered writing a few of my personal thoughts on each chapter since I tend to enjoy creator commentary in other media. Let me know if you'd like me to drop tidbits like this from time to time. I will likely do small revisions to earlier chapters as I go along if I feel I could've written something better or made something clearer.
