so ugly. A couple of elements would work on their own, but together? they really don't...
I liked the fur lining, and I liked the cape, so those are the elements I decided to keep. Purple wouldn't work here at all, it clashes really badly with the blue used for his body. The jumpsuit looks bad in his style but it looks worse in mine, I did try, it just looks swimwear.. The boots are probably the best part, but they're grey so they don't match with anything else!!!
I don't know what mine's emblem is. I don't know what the original's emblem is supposed to be, to be honest. The shoes have the same gem-sort of orb as his cape. I wanted something kinda dumb and edgy-looking, in my mind he's a big edgelord w


Maybe it's a bit controversial, but I do like JC's X. He's very stupid and childish. mine (depicted here, and in a couple other pictures) is pretty heavily based on his.. I like to draw him closer to classic Sonic just because it's cute :P I kinda think looking cute is a funny contrast with being like sadistic as fuck and torturing people for fun. that sort of thing.

Also I won't get any other chance to say it, and it's been driving me crazy: retake is a stupid fucking term, either commit to it being your remake of the original or say it's your take on X. A "remake" already implies that it's your take!!!!! I guess it's in line with exe considering half the shit in the original was similarly stupid and nonsensical
