Why do I get the feeling this will eventually end up backfiring on UNF, as I mean, come on, why would Scorpio do something that would put her back in jail, since the cops would know who she really is in civilian life? Also, the rest of Zodiac are going to prove that she had nothing to do with this. (I doubt the UNF's frame up is going to stick.)

Boy those UNF folks might be cocky for now with this plan.. but a certain hero or 11 will likely be getting on to this fairly sharpish

UNF just can't stop obsessing with hanging. Any members want to branch out with tying heavy items to their captives feet and tossing out to sea, tying them to train tracks, tossed off cliff sides, buried alive, tied to makeshift rockets, locked in rooms alongside death traps, sold overseas, tickle torturing as a means of feeling powerful over de-powered supers even if the supers are recorded to add further humiliation of their helplessness or risk die laughing, etc? Knowing how pathetic the UNF's past attempts have been it wouldn't be surprising to see these cartoonish villainous perils. Either way Veronica is gleefully relaxing in her restraints and jail cell as this goes on.

Still, curious if there are some UNF members legitimately scared of supers, possibly felling personally betrayed/threatened by powers and the heroines attempt to reach them and prove their genuine desire to do good and not encourage classics or a society where no powered people are treated like second class citizens (kinda like in My Hero Academia).

From his words, they did not SEE who did this to them? How the UNF can pull this stunt off with getting the loving couple in this mess without using powers to do it, and still implicating Scorpio is something I would like to see told sometime...
