Great Western Railway 2800 Class no. 2857, recently restored to operational condition, crossing Sandbourne Viaduct just short of Bewdley station with the Severn Valley Railway's 3.00 Kidderminster to Bridgnorth service on 28 August 2011. The 2800s were the first 2-8-0 class built in Britain and were intended for heavy freight work; no. 2857 itself was constructed at Swindon in 1918. They're very powerful engines, and have no trouble at all with Bank Holiday specials on the SVR. I'm particularly happy with the way you can see the crew so clearly.
