The maw area also underwent an interesting change in direction. While it was initially designed to be more dragon based, two years ago I took a different direction and went down a more unusual path, mixing feline and dragon-like elements, first with the help of  Drgn Gold, then definitively implemented in the final reference sheet by my friend  Wairu to be adjusted later by  Prenser on the final mawshot reference. In this regard, DOESH and I took some references from some of the most powerful felines, such as the tiger/jaguar to get things the way we envisioned them. (Big thumbs up for Doesh and Prenser who figured out a lot of tweaks to improve the overall look).

The jaws and the beak like muzzle were modified to the new dentition and also to better accommodate the unique tongue, which was given a much more barbed texture, like that of felines. The teeth were reduced in number but enlarged and have been made sharper to preserve powerful bitting force feeling and crushing ability. The four large fangs have been adjusted in size and shape to preserve the intimidating appearance.
The reason of these new changes were simple...I love felines and so wanted to have it being part of my dragon sona as simple as that, also to try something new to inspire my species the ~DRAZARS~.
