This is my first new drawing for the year, 2026, which is another HD (high-definition, or high resolution) version of my new user avatar picture for FurAffinity (which I just changed it today, as I didn't like that the one I made prior to this one as it was hard to see.)
I was redrawing Gio (in the Windows XP version of Microsoft Paint) and liked the way the drawing looked, so I took part of the drawing and turned it into my new FurAffinity user avatar picture. It is a close up, high detail view of Gio's face, in a semi-realistic, 2D low-poly style, with one of his eyes in a partial squint, giving him a confident, pensive expression as if he were about to ask you a question, or was curious about something. It also makes him look very catlike, which fits, as Gio is supposed to be a humanoid cat.
I also drew his sunglasses to be translucent, so that you can see what's behind them. Yes, you read that right!
The background consists of horizontal stripes in a light blue color; The yellow inner border of the picture is drawn to appear as if it were placed behind Gio, "floating" between him and the background. The text that reads GIO ANTHRO, as well as the copyright year and the copyright symbol in front of it were drawn in, as there is no way to type/insert in text in Microsoft Paint with precision equal to that of just simply drawing it in within the limitations of the picture, as well as allowing the use of any font that you want (or can create), and in any color (or colors, such as gradients) that you want. This is still a problem even in the Windows 11 App version of Microsoft Paint too - in addition to the data mining issue, as well as the poor user interface and major glitches that make it almost unusable - even by someone such as myself who is aware of such issues, which is why I use the Windows XP version, as it is far superior in usability to the "new and improved" Windows 11 App version, which really is a huge downgrade from the Windows XP version and Windows 7 version (which was used up until Windows 10).
I accidentally created a "fabric print" texture while experimenting with resizing the picture, which came about by me first saving the picture as a GIF file, and then resizing the picture (in Stretch and Skew, under Image) without resizing the canvas first, to deliberately induce the anti-aliasing screen blur glitch, which created the "fabric print" texture that the picture has that you are now looking at.
The original picture that I drew in Microsoft Paint (the Windows XP version), prior to being saved a a GIF file, consisted of 23 colors. The picture is at 75% Luminescensce with a tint of Red 16, Green 8, and Blue 0, which is a dark shade of brown.
