No waiting three years after a particular Pokemon game I adored came out to get a pic based around it this time lol. No, I got this 3 months after it came out… And I loved it!

The original Legends Arceus was already one of my favourite Pokemon games for a wide variety of reasons and ZA is no different. Mainly because of the gameplay and how the battle system is a lot more like how Xenoblade Chronicles of Indivisible where it’s in real time and moves are on a cool down which as someone who has been struggling to enjoy JRPG’S that use turn based combat more and more over the years I appreciate this a lot but also the characters, the story, the fact that Mega Evolutions are back after almost 8 years and of course, the fact that it’s set in Kalos which gave me a good excuse to roleplay as Mikaela since my backstory for her is that she was born and raised in Kalos originally before moving to Galar to live with Nessa. Yeah, I loved this game and it probably would have been my favourite game that came out in 2025 if Ghost of Yotei didn’t also come out that same year.

And of course, how can I think about Legends ZA without also thinking about Emma? A retuning character from X and Y who ‘s new look I would of commissioned Mikaela in anyway even if I somehow didn’t like this game because hot dam does Emma’s outfit look amazing in this game. That doesn’t fully surprise me seeing as how Emma’s original suit from X and Y already looked really dam good. A suit I have gotten Mikaela in in the past but this time she’s not hypnotized so no hypno horny this time I’m afraid lol. No, this time it’s body suit under casual clothing horny! Yeah, Emma’s new design in this game hit a VERY specific niche for me which caused me to fall in love instantly. And you know, the fact that I already loved her Expansion Suit just on its own. That suit is slightly re-designed in this game but I love it all the same.

And given that I was roleplaying as my own OC in this game I’m also playing up that Emma actually gave Mikaela this suit after helping Emma out a bit on her detective work because Mikaela wouldn’t stop blushing anytime, she was around Emma and looking at her suit a lot heh. You know, kinda like how you actually get specific Spider-Man suits as rewards for certain side missions in the Insomniac games. Boy is Nessa going to get a surprise when Mikaela comes home to Galar heh.
