A study of a the head design study of the Manke, an original species in the M.V SciFi project me and the T.A.C. group are working on. This is the species that Kaeet Baker was reused for in an original work sense.

They are a race of 6-8.5' tall reptilians that overall have a huge emphasis on war technology thanks to their species upbringing. While it is very 'dakka' type vibes, its really because of how predatory the rest of the fauna on their homeworld is. They absolutely were the bottom of their foodchain, and only triumphed through the development of bigger and more threatening weapons. This trend has continued all the way into the modern era even after conquring the continental bodies of land on Retlaria.

Most of their technological development comes as a byproduct for the war machine industry, leading to a strange mix of brutalism and utilitarianist designs, all while shaping their culture to a somehow humble warrior caste system. Death through fighting is the most honorable way to go, and there are even deliberate locations sanctioned off as fighting grounds for different faction groups to settle their disputes. Whichever side is declared the victor, the surviving members and equipment will fold into the ranks of the successing group.

With their introduction to the galactic community in the very early 2400s, they are a quick ally of Humanity after their quick spat of conflict with the Teshkavan.
