For me I feel the treble of some of the synths is a little bit bitey, maybe not mastered fantastically? maybe bring some of the treble on some of the synths down a little bit on the mix.
Melody wise ye It's not too bad, it's layered and structured fairly well, but I can definitely tell this project was done on and off as some parts feel a little lost and disconnected from the rest of the track.
But bottom line it's not bad. Though it's not my personal favourite style of trance, I do prefer some of the older more open variants, but that's my preference.
I admit the treble's a bit bad for my taste, too. I always use tools built into my DAW to aid me in mastering my music since I always just assume everyone likes things being treble-y with all the pop music going around. (This seems to be what Apple tunes their tools for anyhow)
I think in future tracks I should probably focus more on slower transition between sections.
And I see, you must be using Logic Pro Or Garage Band then. I personally use Logic Pro myself, and when it comes to some treble issues on preset masters, I can definitely agree partially. I really am sensitive to treble, it's probably the headphones I have they're more balanced and some treble stuff is quite loud for me.
Slower transitions might help ye, though I think taking less breaks would also help, at least for me it's better for me to get it done faster as I stay in the mindset of what I'm working on.
But yes, you're very welcome for the feedback, now you owe ME FEEDBACK!!! Just kidding, you don't have to.
Though Good luck on your music journey. May it lead you somewhere, hopefully.
I'll listen through your music, I took a listen to one of your songs last night but went to bed before I finished it. So far I liked what I heard!
