Hey everypony!! It's been a minute! I started working at a vet clinic back in September after a very long period of unemployment and the adjustment took a bit of time... I work very long hours (7:30am to 8pm at least once a week) and it takes like 40 minutes to get to work and 40 minutes to get home, so needless to say I have not had very much free time. I'm only making 15/hr at this place too so unless I get a significant pay raise (which I doubt) I probably will be keeping an eye out for better opportunities closer to home. My roommate also works in vet med making the same amount of money I do, so we have a pretty miniscule amount of money left over after rent and bills. I've been able to really squeeze every last dollar out of my partner's SNAP to feed all three of us on about 300 dollars a month but obviously I don't enjoy it much ^^;

In more relevant art news my old laptop is officially being retired- my MacBook Air gifted to me over a decade ago was really starting to chug. My roommate is letting me have shared custody of one of their laptops, so I'm currently on a Lenovo Yoga. It has a fully articulated hinge to turn the laptop into a tablet so my hope is I can bring it with me to work and draw on my breaks to make a little bit more money! I'm waiting on the pen I ordered to arrive so we will see how that goes! Living in the US right now is a fucking nightmare, I'm just hoping I can regain some sense of normalcy soon. I'll be back to working on owed commissions ASAP, they're all NSFW ones though so unless you follow my alt  coolyiffer you won't see em.
