I am kinda broke. Even with my day job and bennies and cheap rent and not spending on any frivolous things.
Ive done coms before. Once or twice but ive never standardized pricing in anyway
How should i price them? I don't think i priced very well. Kinda low.
Looking at artists similar to my skill and style i think...
90$ for one OC's face with abstract background
120$ for busts of one OC with abstract background
150$ for one full body with abstract background
Add 70$ for detailed background
Add 90$ for additional character to any of the above.
Disgressionary additional fees for character complexity.
I don't think i want to create price differences between nsfw or sfw subjects.
But depicting certain kinks may add disgressionary fees. And some kinks may be banned. Though im not really sure i have anything beyond pedo shit, or diapers. Not that i jusge diapers or ageplay as pedo shit, it isnt, its just that I don't want to be viewed by the parts of the community as a ageplay artist that believe age play is pedo.
It also depends on the meaning of the subject matter as an artwork. Like... Does the commissioner ask to depict a bad thing in an honest way, as opposed to as a blatant kink? Like can i speak to a horrifying subject as such, in my art? If i can... Maybe. So to say thus far i dont have any other hard No's. Just conditional no's
