She's trying voodoo, waving a rubber chicken and all that, but she didn't have time to get to Zecora's to get a proper voodoo mask, so she used an old Mardi Gras mask Rarity had stashed away somewhere.

It's quite simple Scootaloo. Applebloom swung too hard backwards with the hammer, and with her light body, she went with the hammer and since we've seen this is outside, she flew into a tree. You (Scootaloo.) obviously weren't watching your landing as you went down the landing ramp and you...wacked into a tree after you landed. And Sweetie Belle....it's just cause she's friggin' Sweetie Belle. I mean honestly her Cutie Mark should be a blue screen of death, the symbol of utter failure.
