An hour after the incident, Sonic and Sally are seen walking to Vanilla's house to visit and discuss matters. However, the two notice the home in disarray. Sonic rushes in first with Sally following close behind. Sally sees the inside ruined while noticing the mysterious pod-like object nearby. Unbeknownst to her, a pair of red eyes observe the princess. Just then, smoke is emitted from the object and Sally is caught off guard by the strange substance.
