Another quickie sketch of an arctic wolf posing before an Ammonite. Colored pencil and micron pen on packaging paper (this was actually my first attempt with colored pencil in years and years, the pieces uploaded before this one are newer).

oop forgot to say I used a touch of white paint, though I barely used any on this one. I find putting a thin white undercoat of white paint in the areas you want to bring out the white really helps. As for pencils, prisma all the way, and actually packaging paper actually grabs color fairly well, think its the texture of the paper.
I love this piece of yours! It's too bad you're not making prints, I'd snap one up. =3 Those teal blues and browns just work out so well... By the way, I got my canines book in the mail today, and I LOVE it! I will definitly be buying up anymore of these you decide to make. =3
