Let's get this out of the way, this post will detail the future of Hyembs the Dragon and my future plans for next year regarding my page, artwork, etc. To tell you the truth, I will be most likely doubling down on more Hyembs the Dragon content, but with a few notes moving forward. I drew this 10 minute or so drawing to get that point across, she looks pretty dopey in this quickly doodled image lmfao.

With that being said, I will be revamping her kaiju-styled universe ever so slightly and to stop truly shoving it aside as that, "one setting I only care about for having my mascot live in", and "I suppose it has some lore, but not much" and treat it with the proper respect like how I treat the Skin to Scales universe. I don't think I'll be changing things TOO much, but more or less just expanding out her universe as a whole. Also yes, despite me embracing Hyembs the Dragon as my internet persona proper... She still, is, at the end of the day, a character who is still separated from myself. I suppose it's also the reason that's prevented me from truly working on it as I sometimes worry if I started to expand the setting it would come across as some self-insert fanfic, despite being an original setting

I've thought about even renaming it FROM Hyembs the Dragon into something else, but I think the name just kind of... Stuck? I think my last art piece for the year will be recreating her reference sheet and giving out the new synopsis for her setting. It'll still be "Hyembs versus Kaijus and it's always originally Oldbeard's fault in some way", but... I think I want the world to feel truly "lived in" instead of just throwaway art pieces here and there that are only built for comedy's sake

Things I want to do:

>>Create distinct "Zones" outside of Grandiopolis and where the Kaijus and its inhabitants were born. This was slightly mentioned in some of the Kaijus I've made, but I will make a more distinct fantasy and fairy-tale styled map

>>The Hyembs the Dragon folder will be properly sorted, such as having distinct pieces of artwork that will come down along the lines of these "Zones", "Kaiju Details", "General Hyembs Art", "Comics" as well as "Outdated, Non-canon Crossovers and Old Artwork"- and uh, yeah that'll be a DA exclusive as I can't really do that on FA haha, sorry

>>I still want Hyembs the Dragon to have a very distinct "Villain of the Week" feeling or "Cartoon-y Comic-y Vibes ", and I'll probably do comics and art pieces where she's a direct stand-in for myself more

Now what does that mean for the Skin to Scales Universe? Nothing at all outside of me saying that I'll be swapping between the two a whole lot more. Although next year I do plan on finishing Boars of War: Hunter's Journey for sure. Same with working more on the environments of the Realm of Materia and how certain things work in-universe.

...and what does this all have to do with my FA? Well, I'll be posting constant Hyembs the Dragon content here from now on AND I'll even be bringing back my NICHE AND EXLCUSIVE CONTENT that is going to be on my page. I promise it will still have that extremely comedic nature to it as well as it being, well, "cute" so to speak haha.
