So full disclosure, I’ve been taking my sweet time actually slowing down and painting a feathery character for a tarot card…which means I’ve been doing warm-up speedpaints more before I buckle down for a session.

I’ve been running a random number generator on my older deviantART pieces and doing redraws, but last night I got sucked into Avatar talk, so I figured I'd sketch the problematic wife for my next warm-up.

The further we get from the cringey colonial tropes the more I'm loosening up with this series. Late bloomer? Varang's design is wonderful, either way.
