As the days passed, Foxy seemed to lose interest in the goat- he locked his doors most days, and the few times he didn't the remote was nowhere to be found. One afternoon, the goat found himself standing dumbfounded in the living room. It didn't even look like his house anymore, with all the furniture Foxy had been replacing. Apparently, interior design was one of his hobbies. Maybe it was his too, at one point. He couldn't remember.

B-But, this isn't how it's supposed to work! He can't just change the set! He can't just get rid of the remote! That's rejecting the entire premise!

...

...wait, what premise? What set? This was his house. This wasn't a cartoon, this was real life... HE was real!

As if in response, the goat felt his body shoot upwards- he could see the little nubs of his hands bud out into proto-fingers. Was... was this it? Freed from the "show" he was trapped in and given some time to actually reflect, it seems his mind managed to break out. "I'm turning back..?"

"Oh are you now?" A shot of cold water ran up the goat's spine. Then, a weight slammed down on his head as his back compressed, and the little semblances of fingers retracted back into mitts.

"Well we can't be having that!" Foxy grunted as he drove his paw into the goat's rapidly deforming head. His push only got stronger, harder to resist, until he could feel his butt hit the floor, and his body began to accordion. "See, I quite like our little arrangement~ Pardon my French, but there's no way in HELL I'm going back to being a toon."

And with a SPLAT, the goat flattened into a sticky disc as Foxy rubbed in his heel for good measure. He would never admit it, but he breathed a silent sigh of relief- if he'd been just a little bit slower... he's going to have to keep a closer eye on him from now on.

He tried to lift his paw, but like a wad of chewed gum the goat stretched and yanked it back down. "Ugh, I hate this gag..." Foxy balked as he deftly wedged his fingernails underneath and scraped the goat off the floor before grabbing onto his paws and streeetching him like mozzarella. "Ah well. At least you're back to the stupid gremlin you are~"

However, unbeknownst to him, the goat's mind remained clear. Before he was caught in a never ending torrent of dumb ideas, destructive impulses, and they were still there... but it felt like he had some more control. Maybe because he didn't use the remote? It wasn't much, but it was at least progress in the right direction...

THICK THIGHS SAVE LIVES FOXY CRUSH MY HEAD LIKE A WATERMELON
...ahem. Heya! This is somewhat of a retcon? Plot development? piece. The original toon TF came with a flanderization/mental change aspect that was fun in theory, but I couldn't get it to work well in practice. So this piece was meant to somewhat restore Toon!Goat's mental capabilities so he's not totally brainwashed into being full toon all the time. Don't worry, he'll have plenty of new struggles in return- namely I think he'll lose that innate mastery over "toon logic," so if he tries to use it either intentionally or subconsciously, it'll backfire on him~ And if goaded on he can fall into little episodes as well (and then get super embarrassed about it afterwards, hehe).

Also Foxy has thicc thighs now this is canon.
