After hours of work and several crashes from Photoshop, this is finally finished~
After seeing Kung Fu Panda 2, I finally decided to make a couple of characters to fit into the universe. The first of the two I came up with is Shu Kun (淑 坤), a Tibetan Mastiff. Her name means "Gentle Earth" and despite the gentlness of her nature, she is a fierce fighter and master of the Lama Pai/Lion's Roar style of Tibetan martial arts.
I wanted to draw her in a sort of peaceful state, so I started digging around for mountain ranges in the area of Tibet. It was then I happened up Kangchenjunga and the panoramic view of it was gorgeous. * A * So I started roughing out a few concepts and landed on this one. So here is Shu Kun in the light of the early morning performing katas against the background of the mountains. This turned out so well, I can't even tell you. I'd had high hopes for this piece when I sketched it and its exceeded even those! I'm considering doing a matching piece of my other character to go along side this one.

well you can optimize what you have make sure the drive is defraged
check whats starting an running in the background real one player is very guilty of being a resource hog sitting in the background an you may never use it some other programs load quick starts at startup as well which just eat performance an resources an are totally unnecessary
go to run, an type in msconfig then go to the startup tab google is your friend ask it about programs starting (on mine as an example) it has a check box with avg internet security (manufacturer) avg technologies CZ,sro its location C:\programfiles(x86)AVG\AVG10\avgtray.exe then it has the location in the registry
go to google an type in avgtray.exe an it will tell you this is the antivirus system tray an if you can shut if off at start up this is easily done by unchecking the box an restarting that much memory an system resources will be freed up for other use this is just an example of how easy it is

When I last had it worked on a few months ago (had to have it reformatted from a virus from hell) Dan pretty much got it back to factory default and he was working like a dream. But he's been slowing down, and I think its because of his age and the fact that almost all of my memory is full. @ m @

if it holds off the grim computer reaper for a little longer then im glad to help if hard drive space is gone dear ive seen deals on 1.5 terrabites of drive for under 50 bucks
mother board memory well if your maxed out yer maxed but if your not a new chip in to take you there might also help a lot definitely check newegg
