Some quick sketches of Vixy Renard, Fox McCloud's mom. A while back I heard that Takaya Imamura said (while he was still at Nintendo) that Fox's mom was still alive, but that they were estranged because she was upset that Fox revived Star Fox after James was killed.

This really stuck with me, and ever since I have head-canoned that she's still alive.

I also like to think that she's a scientist of some kind, and was basically the main breadwinner in the McCloud house.
