He looks more like gizmo or something than any real primate haha but that's alright. He looks cute. At least to me he does.
I'm getting really close to starting HRT in real life so I've wanted to make Tater more androgynous and long-limbed for a while now. He's canonically programmed male but just like everything else with his AI, he has a morality and individuality of his own based on his personal experiences.
