Heya! Decided to come back to upload something to FA, and what better to upload than a redesign of my fav Sonic cartoon character, Dulcy the Dragon! Along with it a bit of backstory!

Hailing from an alternative Earth, Dulcy didn't have it easy in her life. She never knew her real parents, instead being abandoned as an egg in some bushes, left to fend for herself. Luckily, she was found by the patrol from the Mythica order of Paladins, whom took her in and raised her as their own. Dulcy took to calling one of them, a fellow dragon named Sabina, mom, with the rest becoming her "aunts" and "uncles". She learned from them the techniques of the Order, promising herself to one day become a legendary guardian of the Stellar Saphires like her chosen family. Sadly, it was not meant to be...

One day, The Hand of Nagus, an ancient cult loyal to a sadistic sorcerer of the same name, attacked the Temple, the Mythicas doing anything they could to protect the sacred crystals at all costs. To Dulcys horror, one of her aunts, a gorgon by the name of Iris, would reveal herself as an infiltrator, having been seeking weakpoints in the fortress and their guardians. Before the Order could regroup, the weakened walls gave out, taking the lives of many warriors and leading to the capture of many who survived, Sabina sacrificing her freedom to give her daughter the Saphires and beg her to flee while she can. She flew away, taking only one last glimpse at the ruins of the place she once called home. Her mothers words echoing in her mind, she made sure that the saphires were well hidden and out of the cultists reach

Once she succedeed in her task, she learned something far more horryfying: Nagus, Iris's master, was succesfully brought back, with him now ruling over the kingdom the Mythicas once protected. At first, she nearly fell to despair, but once she heard of rebels uniting against the sorcerer, she joined them post haste. Fighting alongside them, she helped fight off Naguses forces and generals whenever she could

Unfortunatley, one day, the rebels were found out. During the raid, many of them were executed. Dulcy was only spared because she was the only one that knew where the Stellar Saphires were hidden. Naguses top enforcers, Dingo and Sleet, took to torturing the young dragon to make her spill the beans on their locations, even ripping out her wings to make her so much as squeal. But she kept her mouth shut, not giving in to their cruel treatment, her oath of Loyalty to the Mythica stronger than their sadisim, even when her adoptive family members were tortured in front of her

Many, MANY years later, Nagus decided that if he can't find the Saphires, he'll seek different powerful stones, but made sure to keep Dulcy alive just so she can watch as he makes another realm suffer like hers did. Luckily, this would mark the beggining of the end of his rule, as he chose to seek the Chaos Emeralds. Sonic, upon his realm being attacked, gathered his allies and with their (and Eggmans) help they jumped through the rift to face the warlock.

It was then that Dulcy was found by Silver and Blaze deep in Naguses prison, chained in the deepest chambers with only a small window to see the blighted world. Upon breaking her out, the dragon agreed to aid the two, culminating in them knocking out the wardens of the prison and Dulcys torturers, Sleet and Dingo, before regrouping with Sonic. Hearing of what Nagus did to her realm and people made even Eggman disgusted and fearul of the sorcerer, but she revealed something incredibly important: The Saphires weren't just capable of empowering others, but in fact were Nagus's one weakness. With her help, the team gathered them all and prepared to storm the Dark Fortress where Nagus resided, Eggman even preparing a special Wing-Pack for Dulcy to replace the wings she lost.

The tactical assult on the castle eventually led to Nagus losing his power, Iris being captured, and the imprisoned members of the Mythica, including Dulcys mother Sabina being freed at last, allowing their realm to heal from the decay the sorcerer caused. But Dulcy knew one thing: No adventure is over that easily
