This is my third image in a 14 image series of mine (one of the first series that is). I want to do 14 images of females, one a day for two weeks, to try and practice female form; as long as I'm doing that, I thought I might as well make reference images for each of my 12 races, as well as two other female characters.
The Water race of the Etherealm, Merai are entirely based on being aquatic, with a fish tail, fins, and gills. Able to survive leagues underwater, they mostly keep to themselves, although they do sell marine-based merchandise to people on land. Merai have considerably advanced technology, and this is reflected in their main city, Atlaqua, and their mechanical legs that allow for walking.
Merai females notable traits are their waist length hair, very thin and curving forms, and their oversized busts. They have high favor with males across every race for these traits. -.-;
