This is a truly gorgeous piece of art drawn for me by the utterly wonderful 
eliki, who I'm enormously proud and happy to have been able to call a very close friend for many years now. (The picture is posted with his permission, of course.) I'd mentioned the vague photographic theme in an email a little while ago, but I had no idea that this would be the result. I absolutely love this picture.
I'd really love to be out taking photos in that landscape for real, since it looks beautiful. I look very content and relaxed here, which is just how I'd expect to feel in such a landscape. I should probably get my headfur trimmed at some point, but I suspect I'm rather too lazy for that; anyway, who'd choose a haircut over a day out in the country? Not me, that's for sure.
Those who know Eliki's art (and if you don't, why not?) will not be surprised to hear that I've always loved his use of colour, and that really stands out here as well. The blue-and-green theme is absolutely perfect, and the slight haze to the distant hills only enhances its effect. Honestly, I am thrilled with this! *hugs Eliki* =:D

*Purrhugs* You're extremely welcome, of course. I really am incredibly happy with this picture; it's just about perfect. You may have noticed that I've recently set it as my featured pic; I feel so comfortable with everything it says about me, and frankly I can't stop smiling whenever I look at it. =:D
