The SCP Foundation is full of weird and (dare I say) fantastical creatures (skirting around the fact that like 90% of said creatures are murder machines). However, if you look past their often homicidal natures, you get a LOT of weird stuff.
First, my favorite SCP, SCP-745. “The Headlights”, if you will. Weird black raptor-adjacent creatures who have, instead of a skull, translucent skin acting like glass for their brain. Oh, and their brains light up, too, meant to blind you. One other thing of note is that they are fiercely monogamous, where they hunt(ed) with their mate in ye olden times. In modern times, said monogamy has extended to other anomalies, including humans. You should still be careful, though, don’t want to get blinded (which happens disturbingly often).
Next, we have SCP-4975, “Time’s Up” birds. Known for both their astral projection and lanky appearance, modern ones can be surprisingly affectionate. And protective, don’t forget protective. With their weird vertebrae, each of their movements give off a distinct “clicking” sound. Since stalking and consuming people is very illegal in every country including their home of Germany (I think), 4975s often take up farming.
Last, but certainly not least (and by far the biggest), SCP-3000 “Anantashesha.” Standing tall at over 2 meters (8 feet if you’re not a pesky European), they often tower over any human or anomaly in any room they enter. Fun fact, while the viscous liquid they give off was an important cornerstone in Foundation amnestics, it is now used for sedation during surgeries. They are often viewed as “nerdy” (thanks to them naturally living underwater), sometimes being obsessed with various popular or obscure media (probably Atari’s E.T.).
I’m gonna keep it a Ford ef-one-fiddy with all of you, I’ve been wanting to do something like this for a loooooong time. In part due to SCP-1471’s stranglehold on the furry community. So, I drew up a few concepts of some of my favorite SCPs to hopefully spark some stuff for more underrated scips. Until next time, cringe white boy out.
