This is the sketch I made on my phone months ago that was umi's design. They are an aquatic alien species nicknamed Kraits (like the sea snake due to similar venom) they have skin similar to cephalopods. Once finding out she was dangerous to humans with her venom and learning what caution symbols were they adopted the symbol as a default marking to warn humans as not to harm anyone.
