Quilava, alongside Cyan, were just checking out the local show run by a bubbly Brionne, and it was actually quite the spectacular show, although this did make Quilava quite jealous on how Brionne can eat up the spotlight, but then suddenly, when the Alola Starter announced that it was time for her special 'Bubble Oven', she noticed Quilava in the crowd, recognizing the Johto Starter as one of Mew's friends, so after picking Cyan as the 'partner' and tying up his hands for good measure, Brionne personally requested for Quilava to join her in the outside of the bubble, and so Quilava, having longed for the spotlight for a while, agreed without any hesitation, especially after being told the plan.
