You know what's bullshit in D&D?
We've got so many different reptile races, but no dinosaur race.
There's Dragonborn, Kobolds, Lizardfolk, Tortle, Yuan-Ti, but no Dinos. Why? Everybody loves dinosaurs! I can't think of one person who didn't at some point because they're cool. Why not make a dino race? Feels like it'd be so easy to just make one with subraces based on different types of dinos. Longnecks for your Sauropods, Tri-Horns for Ceratopsians, Sharpteeth for your Theropods, ect.
And yeah, you can slap these traits for Dragonborn or even Lizardfolk. I don't think most DMs would give a shit unless you try to take advantage. But, like, IDK, it's not the same. Frankly, I think having so many reptile races is weird, but why not have one be based on dinosaurs? Call them Reptites or Fossilfolk or something.
But whatever, here's Yoth. He's on a quest to get revenge on the barbarian who claimed his hand as a trophy.
