CheyShay requested that I do a piece on Evraion, the mate to Werdnairon. She's usually pretty plain, so I decided to draw her with her custom war tattoos as well as her battle healer outfit.

Crystolians sometimes use paint or tattoos on their body at a young age to help them master Crystolian casting techniques. Because Crystolians are fairly plain when young, and become more detailed as they grow older, they can use the tattoos as focus points to direct magical energy out of, such as a dot in the center of the palm, or a ring on the belly.

Evraion, choosing to keep a plainer form beyond childhood, investigated further uses of these markings, and found that using a variation of dark magic combined with runic magic, she could use the tattoos to attack: for example, on the tail, finger, and wing tips, the patters would extend off her body into sharpened spears, which she could use to attack at a distance. Loosening them, she can also use them as a whip or similar lashing weapon. Down her tail, the larger splotches could be extended into spikes, and the circle on her forehead could be used for a laser, and the eye symbols around her eyes could be used for visual magic, such as scanning, heat vision, and x-ray vision.

To those who wonder about the outfit, it's actually a single piece of fabric winding around her body. I'll illustrate how it works some other time, as well as showing in detail every design she has.
