My character Mel is a jackal. During his own experiment, he suffered serious injuries to his ear and left paw. Max helped him with treatment and recovery from his injuries. Over time, Mel made himself working prostheses to replace his lost ear and paw. The sketch depicts his morning routine of adjusting his ear after sleep
