Greetings. So about a month/mmonth and a half ago, I was randomly playing Apex on Switch...yeah don't ask, I am masochistic! Hadn't played for a while, as in four months or something. And there I was opening some packs from an event and all, or actually I think the event had just ended. And it was 1 or 2am in the morning, and of course I was speechless and my head in my hands when I saw that red spark from the loot tick. I think I softly started weeping, just a few TEARS. I was so elated but had to keep my voice down. I remember texting a couple friends and even calling one at that time, hahaa...inconsiderate. It haunts me, but we laughed it off later. Nevertheless, I then started doing research on all the heirlooms at the time and had an idea of what I wanted. Did some process of elimination too, and it came to this because it was head and shoulders clearly supposed to be a certain character's heirloom. This is not the default sword collor/model either; it has unlockable variants.

Anyhow, I chose it because I like swords nowadays as opposed to when I was younger, and I wanted to have that sort of fantasy vibe of being a paladin as I love the archetype or always having some kind of magical weapon on me, holy. Lastly, I thought it also looked nice as its a simple sword amidst all the wacky things like Charge Rifles and character abilities. Always a pleasure to use if given the chance! It has multiple color options, and I am considering the dark/edgy purple next, or maybe fiery. But ahhh, golden aura just looks great to me. And its nice to have something sort of "tangible", something to show outside of the game. It's incredibly sentimental to this dumbass. In any case, this dork will always stand ready to defend you; it's me before anyone else falls first. With ya til the end.
