The Australians have an interesting camo pattern. I used US army BDU samples to color one of my drarwings.

Anyhoo, it's a good looking piece, i especially like the tank since I'm having too much trouble drawing those, been jerking around with a Bradley without any great success -

Three point perspective. It's not as hard as it looks, just time consuming, and you have to do it a lot. I found the best way to get the proportions right is to start with the most basic of shapes moving up to everyday objects on the floor or a table.

Yeah, there's always these references and likely everywhere - but I'm not that enthusiastic anymore, so I just keep drawing when I feel up for it, if it doesn't get in my way on the first try, then I give up - hahaa, that wouldn't be the case just a year ago...

I was working from a couple references and it wasn't until I was 90% done the pencils that I noticed the turret was facing backwards on the tank (judging by my reference photos, when tanks are parked this is standard proceedure).

They are indeed parked that way, particularly for long distance transport via rail, ship or tractor trailer.

I was an air cadet back in the day, my specialty is modern air/spacecraft, not ground pounders. It was fun though. =3

You are correct, when the tank is parked, the turret is alway faced to the right rear. This allows the driver to gain access to his station from inside the turret.

I would think the camo would extend to cover the tail too, with makeup to cover the ears and stuff. Anyway I don't really care about that, it's an awesome drawing!

The tank is excellent, and in road-travel they turn the turret 'round, especially in friendly territory.
The fem is superb, and I love th' camo.

I'd like to see more contrast in Neesah though to match with the tank. Typically there is more contrast for things in the foreground and less contrast for things in the background. The tank is deffinately the focal point though, so that works well. :D
