My husband and I have taken a long standing friend as a throuplette when they moved back in to our home state. This has been a long time developing slowly in the background and finally became real this year.

So I likened our relationship to this familiar-looking video game artifact I don't want to get sued for naming at present (I may edit the desc to be more blatant later)

The hyena, Addy, sits in the Power shard, because our non-binary lover has more potent real life skills and more capabilities, in addition to physical strength and presence than my Ferdinand and I.

My Ferret, Ferdinand, is Wisdom, because he has always been my gateway to maturity since the day I met him. My personal growth was beginning to plateau when I met him as a young man, and he was among the many to which I owe the chance to leave my nest and grow.

My own self, Owen Otter, is Courage because, I accepted both these loving folk into my life, and had the guts to fight every impulse to turn back and run, for fear of failure, on multiple personal fronts, to this point in my life.

This is our love, radiant and resplendent, each reinforcing the other.
